Meet Our Team
Heather Palmer, PT
Heather has happily been employed at Burk Physical Therapy for over 13 years. She received her Bachelor’s in Biology at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown and her Master’s in Physical Therapy at the University of Findlay in Ohio. Since 2012, she has also held her direct access license allowing patients to seek treatment without prescription or referral. Heather enjoys working with a variety of patients from ALL age groups. She has completed many continuing education courses with a focus on orthopedic injuries and is certified in kinesio taping. She is also well versed in treating athletic injuries, vestibular and neurological conditions, and performing myofascial release techniques.
When not enjoying her work as a Physical Therapist, Heather enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 children. She and her family are outdoor enthusiasts and enjoy many activities including everything from camping and hiking in the mountains in the summer to cross country and downhill skiing in the winter. She has even tried river surfing and is an amateur fly fisherman. She takes all her roles as mother, wife, and Physical Therapist very seriously and is excited to continue to help patients achieve their goals and reach their highest potential.
